These battles act the same as regular battles, the difference being that the second wave begins immediately after the first defeated. In wave battles, the Trainer encounters fights with two sets of enemy Dragons. The Speed-Up button is available starting with Quest 3 ( The Great Plains) in Normal Mode and toggles between x1, x2 and x4 speeds. Lastly, all battles can be sped up using the x1 button. Additionally, opposing Dragons never inflict perfect hits. Regardless of the battle venue, the opposing Dragons always start with 100% health, have a 20% chance of missing, and a 60% chance they of not using defensive skills. In all battles, the Trainer always has the first strike. Dragons currently in the Dragon Vault cannot participate in battles. When going into battle, one to three Dragons can be selected to participate. Each team has three slots that can be filled by tapping a slot and then selecting a Dragon. Pressing the Select Team button opens a teams screen, with groupings for six different teams of Dragons. A Dragon's level and Enchantment Level should be comparable to the opponents it battles. Several factors should be considered when levelling, selecting or training a team. Once a team of Dragons is selected, the Dragons need to be properly levelled and trained. Dragons should be selected according to their level and the strength of abilities against various opposing teams. Only three are needed for regular battles, but six are needed to complete the Bottomless Dungeon. A minimum of six Dragons should be chosen and prepared for battles. It is essential to have the proper Dragon team built up when going into battle.ĭragons need to be raised to Level 4 or higher before they can participate in battle. The general mechanics of battle apply to almost all venues: Campaign Map, Bottomless Dungeon, Dragon League, Sigil Campaign, and events. When the requisite time has elapsed, an icon appears over the obstacle, pressing it completes the process and awards the predetermined amount of experience.General Battle Mechanics Clearing time must elapse though the process does not finish on its own, it can also be sped up with Gems. An obstacle is cleared by selecting it, then pressing the button. Obstacles can only be cleared on islands that have been unlocked. The decoration form can be bought from the shop even if their counterpart obstacle has not been cleared.Ĭlearing Obstacles However, some obstacles are replicated as movable decorations and are available in the Main Shop once Player Level 10 is reached. Unlike Decorations, obstacles behave differently and cannot be moved, they are fixed in place until cleared. Obstacles have varied costs for removal, clearing time required before removal, and Experience gained from removal. The obstacles encountered on each are different, and they come in three different sizes.
